Tariq Shaukat

Tariq Shaukat is the President of Bumble Inc., the parent company that operates the top social discovery apps Bumble and Badoo. He joined the team as the company’s first ever President in 2020, and oversees global company strategy and operations, including product, engineering, marketing, and data science.

Tariq was most recently President of Google Cloud, Google's cloud computing division, and prior to that served in a number of roles at Caesars Entertainment, McKinsey & Company, and Trilogy Software. Tariq is on the Board of Trustees of Public Storage, America’s largest self-storage REIT, as well as the Board of Directors at Ellipsis Health, an early stage start-up that is a pioneer in leveraging AI to create speech-based vital health signs to measure mental health and well being.

Tariq holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Technology and Policy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is also a graduate of Stanford University, where he received a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
