Ivan Zhao

CEO of Notion

Ivan Zhao is Co-founder and CEO of Notion. He created the company with Co-founder and CTO Simon Last in 2016, focusing first on creating tools for note taking and documents. In 2018, he launched Notion 2.0, introducing databases to help with all varieties of project management and workflows. Since then, Notion has grown into a $10B leader in the collaboration, productivity, and remote work fields. Before Notion, Ivan was a product designer at education publishing startup Inkling. He is a graduate of the University of British Columbia and has his degree in cognitive science.
